We're celebrating 66 years of support as a local, independent charity and we've never needed you more! The rising cost of living is presenting challenges for our older community. Sadly, it's not all fluffy slippers, enjoying retirement, and being surrounded by friends and family. For many warmth, loneliness, and survival provide daily challenges.
Over 5,000 each week reach out to Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire. We provide safe spaces to receive a smile as you enter through a door, nutritious meals created using homegrown ingredients and advice on saving energy and staying warm.
Our 42 services can be life-changing! For example, Our Information and Advice Team can be the difference between affording to heat a home and eating. Lifestyle services help with shopping, daily tasks, and keeping a home clean, hygienic, and safe, and services such as Telecare and HART are there 24 hours a day for falls, illness, emergency care, keeping services users together and where they wish to receive support.
Our aim is to provide support for another 66 years and allow those who are lonely to gain company, and those looking for hands-on support in later life to use our hands. If our services do not meet the needs of any individual, we adapt, create, and deliver.
Together we can make a big difference.
We'll send you a tax receipt for your donation.
